TRANSPARENCY POLICY

Littleton Forward is committed to full transparency in its operations, expenditures, advocacy time, and engagement with the community. As a not-for-profit entity, Littleton Forward does not solicit or accept donations, ensuring complete financial independence. This policy outlines our commitment to financial clarity, advocacy reporting, and our stance on cooperation with law enforcement.


1. NOT-FOR-PROFIT MODEL

  • Littleton Forward operates as a not-for-profit entity and is not a charitable organization.
  • All work is conducted on a voluntary and self-funded basis.
  • No external donations, grants, or funding sources are accepted.
  • Littleton Forward does not engage in fundraising efforts or monetary solicitations.
  • 100% of Profits will be directed back into Littleton-based resources and services.


2. FINANCIAL REPORTING & REGULARLY PUBLISHED INFORMATION

Littleton Forward operates under a self-funded, not-for-profit model and does not accept donations, grants, or sponsorships. All revenue is personally funded, ensuring complete independence and accountability.


Revenue Reporting

Each report will provide a detailed breakdown of revenue sources, which will always reflect:

  • Self-Funded Contributions – Covering all operational expenses.
  • Grants & Sponsorships – Reported as $0.00, as Littleton Forward does not seek or accept external funding.
  • Donations – Reported as $0.00, as Littleton Forward does not accept donations.
  • Total Revenue – Summarizing all funding sources.


Expenditure Reporting

Financial reports will also include a transparent account of expenses necessary to fulfill Littleton Forward’s advocacy, research, and community outreach efforts, including but not limited to:

  • Website Hosting & Maintenance – Costs associated with maintaining an accessible and up-to-date online presence.
  • Printing & Outreach Materials – Expenses related to producing educational materials and public awareness efforts.
  • Venue Rentals (if applicable) – Any costs incurred for community workshops, meetings, or public events.
  • Operational Costs – General expenses required to support ongoing advocacy efforts.
  • Total Expenditures – Summarizing all financial outflows.

Littleton Forward is committed to full financial transparency and will publish this information regularly to ensure the community has a clear understanding of how resources are allocated to support advocacy, outreach, and public service efforts.


Advocacy Time Reporting

Littleton Forward tracks advocacy time spent on public interest efforts, ensuring transparency in engagement and resource allocation. Advocacy time includes:

  • Social Media Management – Public awareness, engagement, and educational content.
  • Graphic Design – Development of outreach materials.
  • Website Management – Updates, maintenance, and content creation.
  • Community Outreach via Connect Care Line – Direct engagement with residents, offering guidance, and connecting individuals with available resources.
  • Resource Navigation – Helping residents access available services.
  • Investigation & Research – Fact-finding, legal research, and public records reviews.
  • Town of Littleton Meeting Attendance – Covering Board of Selectmen, Commissions, and Department meetings.

Littleton Forward will publish monthly reports outlining the time dedicated to each category.


3. COOPERATION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT

Littleton Forward maintains a strict policy regarding non-cooperation with law enforcement agencies in ways that could compromise public trust.

  • Independence from Law Enforcement: Littleton Forward is not affiliated with any local, state, or federal law enforcement agency or immigration enforcement.
  • No Reporting Policy: Littleton Forward does not report, share, or provide information to law enforcement unless legally compelled through a subpoena or court order.
  • Commitment to Privacy: Any information shared with Littleton Forward by community members remains confidential and will not be voluntarily provided to law enforcement agencies or any government entity.
  • Support for Civil Rights: Littleton Forward supports the rights of individuals to understand their legal protections, particularly in encounters with law enforcement.


4. PUBLIC ACCESSIBILITY OF REPORTS

  • All financial and advocacy reports will be made publicly accessible through Littleton Forward’s website.
  • Reports will be updated on a regular basis to ensure continued accountability.
  • Any inquiries regarding transparency or published information can be directed to advocacy@littletonforward.org.


5. COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Littleton Forward is dedicated to:

✔ Providing clear and accurate reporting of expenditures and advocacy time.

✔ Ensuring no financial conflicts of interest through a strict no-donations policy.

The organization does not and cannot provide legal advice, legal representation, or case-specific guidance. Oversight & Advocacy Role

Littleton Forward operates as a watchdog organization, committed to:

  • Connecting residents with resources and services that align with their legal and civic needs.
