Effective Date: February 2, 2025

Littleton Forward and the Connect Care Line are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the confidentiality of the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, as well as our strict commitment to non-disclosure and non-cooperation with criminalizing the unhoused.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect both personal and non-personal information as needed to provide services:

  • Personal Information: Includes your name, email address, phone number, and any details you voluntarily provide through the Connect Care Line, contact forms, or article submissions.
  • Non-Personal Information: Includes IP addresses, device information, browser types, and site usage data collected through cookies for improving website functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • To connect unhoused and vulnerable residents with resources, including housing, welfare assistance, and support services.
  • To respond to inquiries and follow up with individuals who have contacted the Connect Care Line.
  • To maintain and improve website functionality and our outreach efforts.

We do not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

Littleton Forward adheres to a strict privacy policy that prioritizes the confidentiality of your personal information:

  • We do not share, sell, or trade any personal information with third parties, including government agencies or law enforcement, unless legally required through a verified court order or subpoena.
  • We do not provide any information to immigration authorities (ICE or otherwise). Our mission is to help individuals access basic human needs, not to support the criminalization of being unhoused or undocumented.
  • Any information shared with us is treated with the utmost care, and access to this data is strictly limited to authorized team members who have signed confidentiality agreements.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and collect site usage statistics. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may affect certain website features.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We implement robust security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we do our best to protect your data, we encourage caution when sharing sensitive information online.

6. User Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, modify, or delete the personal information you have provided to us.
  • Request information on how your data has been used.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@littletonforward.org.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites that operate under their own privacy policies. Littleton Forward is not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

8. Use of Information for the Connect Care Line

The Connect Care Line is designed to help unhoused and vulnerable residents access life-saving resources. All information shared through this service is handled under strict confidentiality policies, and we do not share any personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the requested support.

You have our assurance that:

  • We will never provide your contact information or any details to outside entities unless you provide signed permission.

If you are undocumented or concerned about immigration status, your information will remain private.
