PLANNING & ZONING

Planning Board Overview

The Littleton Planning Board is responsible for reviewing subdivisions, lot line adjustments, and property mergers. Subdivision approval is mandatory for landowners seeking to divide a lot into smaller parcels or create additional building sites. The Planning Board also oversees reviews for various types of development, as outlined in the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations. Property owners and developers should refer to these documents to understand the full scope of requirements before initiating projects.

Zoning Board of Adjustment Overview

The Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) handles requests for variances and special exceptions related to property use. Residents and property owners seeking information about permitted uses and other zoning regulations should consult the Zoning Ordinance.

To request a hearing or obtain additional details, contact Planning & Zoning Administrator Joanna Ray via email at jray@townoflittleton.org or by phone at 603-444-3996 Ext. 1027.
